Findlay sophomore Trista Fintel won the women's shot put title with a personal-best effort of 52-7.50 (16.04m) in the opening round at the NCAA Division 2 Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Fintel, who captured the first women's indoor crown in any event for Findlay since 2017, also finished 13th in the weight throw with a 58-4.75 (17.80m) performance.
